GAG: Dollar fishing: Put a bill on a fine fishing line, and go ‘Fishing’ for people in public areas, staying out of sight of the patsies. The clown doing it has a large button on proclaiming 'Tax Cut Clown!' and a button saying 'Leave no billionaire behind' when the person following the dollar gets close enough and sees the clown, the clown exclaims: "I'm the tax cut clown, and we're here to help out everyone, NOT JUST THE NEEDY! GET OUT OF HERE!!" Snatching the bill completely from the followers reach.
PROPS: Thin Fishing Line (6 lb test or thinner works fine) A Dollar (plus a couple of spares) Clear cellophane tape Button: TAX CUT CLOWN Optional Button: Leave No Billionaire Behind Optional: A fishing reel, a fishing pole
Tips: Tape the fishingline onto the dollar by first tying a 1/8" knot into the fishingline, Now tape the line down to the dollar right next to knot. Test, and if it pulls out too easily, make the knot bigger, or even ball up a little tape around it. Place the dollar somewhere it will be spotted, and situate yourself somewhere where you will not be easily seen. Not everyone will see the dollar and reach for it. Of those who do, when it moves, not everyone will chase it. You are waiting for the right combination. Patience. Just like real fishing.
Reel them in as slowly as possible. There are people who will chase it further than you'd imagine. When they get close enough for you to deliver your punch line. Go put the bill back down immediately, people will often stay to see the next sucker get pulled in.
