$$ Give & let a million clowns be your reward

100% of current donations go towards the hard expenses of The Million Clown March

Clowns with Ladders:

Several pairs of clowns each pair with a long ladder going through downtown during commute, or busy times.  "We're with the Bush Administration, and we're going to use these Ladders to get way up high, and fix all the highest problems."  "You can trust us!  We're here to fix things! This administration can take care of itself!"

Having clown encounters, and encountering what they do. Pedestrians, vehicles, etc…

Perhaps followed by clowns with ‘buckets of paint’ – each filled with a yarn mass attached to paint bucket interior on one end & with a weight hidden in the yarn mass at the other end (leading edge)  so that a 'trip' and apparent subsequent spill coming out at passersby turns out to just be yarn.

Clown Policeman with clown chain gang:

Taking a ‘Chained’ together line of prisoner clowns, being led, tied together, through a busy area.

Clown Protest Sign:

It says: "STOP CARRYING SIGNS!"

Clown Gags & ideas

yet to be politicized:

Clown with 3 cigar boxes doing some difficult manipulations. It turns out that the middle box is attached to the clowns belt, so that it can rotate, and make possible all the impossible looking manipulations. At first it looks real, but is soon revealed as a fake.

A clown with a hot dog, followed by a clown with a ketchup squeezer - 2nd clown is trying to get ketchup out of squeezer, people are nearby. Finally squeezing the container hard, the ketchup apparently flies right out towards someone. It is string, forced out by air. (Available cheap at any magic shop, or online joke-shops.)

Clown Bus – One clown gets on at the first stop.  Another at the next and so on, till the bus is packed with clowns. All oblivious to each other. Each reading a newspaper, or a book, or doing various innocuous activities.

Phone rings, and the clown answers.  Another clown 10' away is the one calling.  They carry on a loud conversation, hopefully funny/ political, with each other.

Clowns converge in a central public meeting place (perhaps a mall, etc..) each with alarms of various sorts, all set to go off at the same time. Come the appointed time they all go off.

Contact Dancing Clowns – Clowns dancing ‘contact improv’ style dancing in unusual places.  Rolling around on each other, more and less acrobatic. Especially nice when mixed in with ‘normal’ looking people (also contact dancers) who then join into the action.

SUV Change-drop - At a crosswalk, crossing in front of a car with a large hood, an SUV or a Hummer with a huge hood, 'accidentally' drop a few coins, signal to the driver that you are going to pick them up. Duck down, and scootch around the passenger side of the SUV, and exit. Done properly the driver sits there waiting for you to stand up again.  They can't easily drive off without finding a way to check if you are immediately in front of the vehicle.

Clown Crossing delay – Clown and non-clown pedestrians timed to temporarily block an intersection (or mid block). All participants seeming completely oblivious to each-other. Block traffic for 2 minutes max, then move on.

Ball rolling – Clowns go out, rolling large rubber balls (4’+) or big balloons (4’+) covered in fabric over cars and sidewalks.
