THE BASIC 4 BALL PATTERN
THE SECRET OF 4 BALLS:
Look closely at the animation, and you'll notice that the balls don't actually cross but rather each one lands back into the same hand it was thrown from. 4 Balls is 2 balls in each hand at staggered times, making it the easiest 'next number' to learn because you can easily practice each half of it seperately. They circle out from the belly towards the outside. When practicing 4, or 2 in one hand, keep the balls on a single plane in front of you, rather than looping them back towards yourself. (NOTE: Although for many of you looping them back towards yourself may be a more intuitive, easier way to learn 2 in one hand, when you get to the 4 ball stage it becomes much harder. So practice keeping the balls flat, as if they were travelling inside an ivisible wall right in front of you.) |
